Senior User Interface Designer

We're looking for an innovative, talented UI designer to join the Strategic Mapping team and help build the next generation of applications for the transportation industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop a compelling overall vision for each product.
Work with technical leaders and product managers to determine requirements.
Design interaction flows and individual features.
Expand on the basic requirements to add innovative UI elements that make for a breakthrough user experience.
Create working prototypes of key UI elements.
Directly design the final look and / or coordinate with a visual designer to do so.
Learn from customer feedback to improve future versions.
Partner with software engineers to deliver a great finished product.

Requirements:

Technical excellence in HTML and CSS.
A Bachelor's degree in Human Interface, Design, or related field is required, graduate degree preferred.
At least five years of industry experience.
Online portfolio including examples of solving complex UI problems.
Technical proficiency in HTML and CSS are a must.
The candidate should be informed by industry standards, intuitive with design decisions, and constantly learning new ways to be innovative in the user experience field.
